What is GDP?  

The GDP of that country is the amount of profit that can be generated by selling all the products of a particular country in one year, the product of that product being sold at that market price in that year.

Example: 

Suppose one country made 500 mobiles in a year and one mobile cost 200$ (dollars), then the total GDP of that country is .....

500×200 = 10,000 $

C= Consumer Expenditure 

I = Industries Investment 

G = Government Expenditure 

Suppose....

C= 200$, I = 200$, G= 200$, Export= 200$ and Import= 200$

> GDP= C+I+G+(Expert-Import)

       = 200+200+200+(200-200)   

       =600$

Ways to increase GDP:

If a country wants to increase its GDP, then that country will have to produce more products.  And most of the products have to be exported to other countries.

for example...

If the citizens of India do not use India's products even after living in India, if they use Chinese products more then the Chinese products will be sold more.  This will result in a much higher profit flow from India to China, thus increasing China's GDP.  But if the citizens of India use Indian products, then the profits of India will not go to other countries.  In addition, if Indian goods are exported to other countries, profits from other countries will come to India. That way it is possible to increase the GDP of any country.

GDP কি? 

কোন নির্দিষ্ট দেশের সকল জনসংখ্যা মিলে এক বছরে যে পরিমাণ পন্য উৎপাদন করে, সেই উৎপাদিত পন্য ওই বছরের বাজারদরে বিক্রি করে যে পরিমাণ মুনাফা পাওয়া যায় সেই মুনাফাকে ওই দেশের GDP বলা হয়।

উদাহরণ : 

 মনে করো একটা দেশ এক বছরে মোট 500 টি মোবাইল তৈরি করেছে এবং একটি মোবাইলের দাম 200$(ডলার) তাহলে ওই দেশের মোট GDP হল.....

500×200 = 10,000 $(ডলার) 

GDP হিসাব করার মাধ্যমে বোঝা যায় পৃথিবীর কোন দেশ কত বেশি উৎপাদন করছে। তাই GDPর মাধ্যমে বিশ্ব অর্থনীতির মানচিত্র নির্মাণ করা হয়।

ধরা যাক...

C= 200$, I = 200$, G= 200$, Export= 200$ and Import= 200$

> GDP= C+I+G+(Expert-Import)

       = 200+200+200+(200-200)

       = 600$

GDP বাড়ানোর উপায়:

যদি কোন দেশ তার GDP বাড়াতে চায় তাহলে সেই দেশকে বেশি করে পণ্য উৎপাদন করতে হবে। এবং বেশি করে দ্রব্য অন্য দেশে Export করতে হবে।তাছাড়া, নিজের দেশের উৎপাদিত পণ্য ব্যবহার করতে হবে।

উদাহরণ স্বরূপ...

যদি ভারতের নাগরিকরা ভারতে বাস করার পরেও ভারতের তৈরি দ্রব্য ব্যবহার না করে, যদি চীনের দ্রব্য বেশি করে ব্যবহার করে তাহলে চীনের দ্রব্য বেশি বিক্রি হবে। এ-র ফলে ভারত থেকে চীনে অনেক বেশি পরিমাণে মুনাফা চলে যাবে এর ফলে চীনের GDP বৃদ্ধি পাবে। কিন্তু ভারতের নাগরিকরা যদি ভারতের পণ্য ব্যবহার করে সে ক্ষেত্রে ভারতের মুনাফা অন্য দেশে যাবে না। এ ছাড়া ভারতের পণ্য অন্য দেশে Export করা হলে অন্য দেশ থেকে মুনাফা ভারতে আসবে।এই ভাবেই যেকোনো দেশের GDP বাড়ানো সম্ভব।
